Buying this book supports the last year’s efforts from Julien and I to better understand the trends beneath the technology, and how they apply to your communications experience going forward. We believe this book will be more than “interesting,” but instead, that it will be useful to you. We’ve worked hard to make that something we can promise.

So thanks, and I look forward to continuing the conversations we’ve been having at the Trust Agents community and here on this blog. My best to you. — Chris…

  • Hey Chris,
I'm illiterate, so I was wondering when this
    may be available on Audible.com?

I do all my reading during my drive to and from
    work.
  • You write very well for someone who is illiterate... lol.
Personally I have to say I get much more out of audiobooks, guess it's just the way my mind is wired. It's also nice to hear the emotion and intent that the real author is trying to get across if they are the one reading it. Did you/will you be narrating the audio version of Trust Agents Chris?
  • I totally read this as "Where to Buy Trust". Eeeks.
  • That's down the street. : )
  • Chris, is there going to be an audio book version?
  • Yes.
  • joshuaguffey
    Wahoo!
  • Audio Version? Did I miss it?

I read the book and was about to review it on my blog. But I don't know anything about the audio version. Would love to know more..
  • ROFL, try Nocturn Alley
  • GlendaM

  • I tidied that link into - http://bit.ly/ta-chapters , in case you need to share it. : )
  • Will there be a Kindle version? :-)
  • Yes.
  • joshuaguffey
    Again...wahoo!
I like my media I'm a variety of forms. Yeah, I'm a dork.
  • Chris,
Great! looking forward to picking up a copy. Thanks for sharing the list (i hadn't heard of 800 CEO READ ) i will remember that outlet when i publish my book-

  • woodka

  • I'm curious to read more of your book to learn how one can "use the web" to build influence, improve reputation, and earn trust. I think you mean "people on the web" and not the Web as a proper noun, right? ;)
  • Not sure what you're moving towards. Is my grammar wrong? The web is the tool at hand.

Either way, it probably won't appeal to you.
  • Peter Poulton
Crikey Chris, that was a rather harsh response coming from someone such as yourself.
  • janmader
I did enjoy this post and have bookmarked your site. I'm a children's author and have a blog at http://ignitetowrite.blogspot.com/ I've been trying to figure out how to make technology work for me.
  • Using this link until otherwise directed. And Facebook.
  • clippodcast

  • mazal tov and congratulations Chris
  • Chris - I am always on the lookout for great books to talk about in my monthly e-zine. This is such a timely topic. Can't wait to check it out!
  • Just ordered it on Amazon. Looking forward to reading it! When I'm done, I'll contact you to schedule an interview for On the Record...Online.
  • I will buy 200 books if you come to Nashville.
  • Chris
    Hey Chris:

You probably know that old adage, "be careful what you ask for, you may just get it." Your appeal today to buy a copy of Trust Agents was terrific modeling to ask for what you need. Very cool. Now I am going to Amazon to buy a copy. Just because I get a kick out of your writing, so more must be better.

    Thanks, Chris from Peterborough, NH
  • Received my copy today Chris
  • I need to post the Amazon Germany link here, where I bought it ;) (Just waiting for it to be delivered!)

  • Any ballpark idea on a release date for the audiobook?
  • pamslim
I am so excited to get my hands on your book!

I am sure it is going to do great things in the world.

Have fun with the launch, and remember it is a marathon, not a sprint. If you need to rest, all the guest posts/interviews/emails will still be there tomorrow. :)

Know you are welcome on Escape from Cubicle Nation anytime to talk about the nuggets in the book as they apply to building a business.

    -Pam
  • I am very excited for you guys. As a fellow author, I understand how it feels to pour yourself into a book and how naked you feel in the beginning while hoping it will take off and that others love it enough to talk about it. I know that feeling very well, and now is when you guys can sit back and feel the goosebumps! Congratulations! I am doing what I can do to help ... I blogged, tweeted, Facebooked, etcetera. I hope that it will help.
  • Congrats, Chris. I bought a copy of Trust Agents on Amazon.
  • Just one-click ordered @chrisbrogan http://bit.ly/XdPYn from Amazon. Can't wait to read. Did anyone say it was five-star rated? It is.
  • Thanks for the tipoff on the new book. I appreciate your pro-bono stuff that you always provide so I instantly went to Amazon and ordered it, tweeted about it and created a blog post. I am so much looking forward to the read. Don't you think everyone will?
  • matthewcornell
Congratulations, Chris. Tons of work, I know. I'm sure you'll get a ton of sales!
  • Is there already an audio book version out?
  • I bought my copy through amazon in US until I discovered Dymocks online store stocks it in Australia - might be useful for other Aussies: http://bit.ly/HmcRF
  • rossclennett
Couldn't find it available in bookshops in Australia, Chris, so have ordered via Amazon.com. Your Change This manifesto was enough to convince me to shell out my hard earned for the full version. Thanks
  • Hey, let's get iTunes on this list!
  • SWEET! It's a sort of birthday. Can't wait to read it, picking it up at B & N Tomorrow and taking it to the beach.:)

    Congratulations!
  • Just got an email from Amazon today, after ordering it yesterday. Advising me to get Trust Agents because I had bought Joel Comm's book on Twitter several months ago. Promotion appears to be taking off. As soon as I get it I will put a review on Amazon also.
  • Congrats Chris. Looks like another good piece of work from you. -Rick Myers, Talent Zoo

  • Hi Chris

Is there an affiliate program for this book where we can refer customers your way?

    Cheers
    Matt
  • Hi Chris, is there any e-book version (pdf / non-printed) of Trust Agents?
  • Hi Chris any tips on where to pick up Trust Agents in Australia. I'm new to your Blog but have quickly become a firm fan! Keep it real!
  • Hi Chris-

A minor grammatical point: the first sentence of the penultimate paragraph of your post should read: "Buying this book supports the last year’s efforts from Julien and me . . . ." "Me" is used when the pronoun is the direct object of the sentence; "I" when the pronoun is the subject of the sentence.

(I was hesitating to post this, until I saw your "is my grammar wrong" reply to Ari Herzog.)
  • Looking forward to getting the book here in South Africa :-)
  • Alex
    audio version please :D
    when? where to buy?
  • mikemcsharry
    Hi Chris,
I've been listening to the audible version of your book - and can now see that I really have to get into this media in a very serious way. One comment about the audio version, it's very very clear - most of the time - just occassionaly it sounds like you've slightly wandered from the mic. That said - brilliant.
I went into my local Borders today to buy the book (just love bookshops), they didn't have it - found it on amazon - pasted the ISBN into their system - no joy. So - I'll buy it there.

I think I'm being a bit simple - but I can't find where to login!
  • mikemcsharry
Hi Chris - quick apolgy - I've listened to much more of the book and the early 'audio wandering hasn't been repeated'. THAT GUY made me wince - I was on my way into a meeting with a pocketful of bus cards - so THIS GUY then only handed out one and I've already had communication back.. Amazon have told me my book's on the way - but here in the UK we have a post strike!
  • Where did you find the audio version, mike?
  • mikemcsharry
Hi Isabelle - I have a subscription with audible.co.uk - where are you - and do they have audible? I haven't checked out the latest offerings for this month (I get a new one each month) - so please reply to this post when you see it
  • Alison Creamer
Just started reading this !!!! only in the intro and already happy with what I see !
  • great post thanks for sharing...
  • think I just found a use for my Borders coupon, looking forward to reading your book.
  • mbt1451
