Winners of the Donald Miller Project

I just ran a giveaway, because of my passion for Donald Miller’s book, A Million Miles in a Thousand Years. Entrants had to write a blog post about the importance of story. I’ve just compiled the list of the first 100 submissions, who will be receiving a book. You might enjoy this. There will be quite a lot of interesting posts at the end of the following links.

If you haven't read Jule Kucera's blog you're missing some of the best writing on the web. Seriously. She rocks! http://julekucera.com. What's different about Jule is she's writing about the love of her life….who died….but she's writing about how they met….it's real, raw, racy and moving. Check it out. You won't be sorry.

    Chris,

Thanks for the link and the chance to get a free book. This helped me get serious about blogging more. The creative spark of writing the Story post actually made me realize that I need to loosen up on my expectations of how I am approaching things online.

I have a scheduled blog post that will post Monday afternoon that I won the book with a link to this post and some more link love to Amazon for Mr. Miller's book. Thanks again.

Chris, thank you so much for the book. Although I'd read McKee's 'Story', it never occurred to me until Donald Miller's example that I could set up inciting incidents in my own life. Very cool. I'm sending you another book, 'The Power of Story' by Jim Loehr to say thanks. You read Loehr back in 2004 and if you haven't seen this new one, I think you'll like it.
